Privacy Policy

TechWorker Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") recognizes the importance of personal information, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, and handles personal information appropriately in accordance with the following policy.

TechWorker Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") regards the protection of customers' personal information as an important management priority. The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter the "APPI") and other applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, and establishes this Privacy Policy as set forth below to handle and protect personal information appropriately.

01Definition of Personal Information

In this policy, "personal information" refers to personal information as defined under the APPI: information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, or other descriptions contained in the information (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information, thereby identifying the specific individual).

When the Company outsources the handling of personal information, it exercises necessary and appropriate supervision over the outsourced party to ensure the secure management of personal information.

The Company implements the following measures for the secure management of personal information.

  • Organizational measures: We appoint a person responsible for the handling of personal information and conduct regular education and training for our personnel.
  • Personnel measures: We conclude confidentiality agreements with our personnel and prevent unauthorized access to personal information.
  • Physical measures: We appropriately manage the equipment and documents used to handle personal information and prevent unauthorized removal.
  • Technical measures: We limit access rights to personal information to the minimum necessary personnel and maintain appropriate settings to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Response in the event of a leak: In the unlikely event of a leak or similar incident involving personal information, we will promptly report to the Personal Information Protection Commission and notify affected customers in accordance with the APPI.

06Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Company's website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve the convenience of our services and to understand website usage. A cookie is a small data file sent from a web server to your browser and stored on your computer.

The information you enter is transmitted through the form service designated by the Company and stored on a system that the Company manages appropriately.

09Use of AI Services

In the course of providing our services, the Company may process information provided by customers using AI services. The AI services we use are as follows.

  • OpenAI, L.L.C. (ChatGPT)
  • Anthropic, PBC (Claude)
  • Google LLC (Gemini)

All of the above services are used under corporate contracts with the respective providers and are operated under the following conditions.

  1. We apply settings that prevent input data from being used to train or improve AI models.
  2. Information that can identify individuals is appropriately anonymized or de-identified prior to AI processing.
  3. We have entered into agreements regarding data handling with each service provider.

10Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties Located Overseas

In connection with the use of the AI services described above, customers' information may be processed on servers located outside Japan (primarily in the United States).

Each service provider has established appropriate systems in accordance with Article 28 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (such as the conclusion of standard contractual clauses or the assurance of an equivalent level of protection).

11Requests for Disclosure, Correction, or Deletion

With respect to your own personal information held by the Company, you may request its disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or the cessation of provision to third parties, in accordance with the APPI.

Upon receiving such a request, we will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period and scope. Please note that we may be unable to accommodate your request in cases where the Company is not obligated to make disclosures or take similar actions under the APPI or other laws and regulations.

12Changes to This Policy

The Company may amend this policy due to changes in laws and regulations, changes in social circumstances, or other factors. The amended policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on the Company's website. In the case of significant changes, we will provide notice on the Company's website.
